U.S. Army 1st Sgt. Viet L. Tong, assigned to the 93rd Military Police Battalion, performs first aid steps and procedures on a simulated casualty during the Expert Infantryman, Expert Soldier, and Expert Field Medical Badge medical lane evaluation held at Fort Bliss, Texas, Sept. 19, 2024. Tong was one of more than 900 Fort Bliss Soldiers who took part in the weeklong E3B event which took place from September 16-20, 2024.
Known as the home of "America's Tank Division", Fort Bliss is one of the U.S. Army's premier strategic platforms. Events like the E3B aimed to increase Soldiers' individual and collective readiness, overall proficiency and lethality.
