After enduring a seven-week CPO induction, these selectees have been granted the distinct privilege of now being a part the Navy's CPO Mess. Attaining the rank of E-7 for enlisted is the equivalent of an officer going from being a captain to a rear admiral, said Rear Adm. Philip J. Wisecup as he addressed the 42 new chiefs pinned from Ronald Reagan, Carrier Air Wing 14, and Carrier Strike Group 7 Ronald Reagan, Carrier Air Wing 14, and Carrier Strike Group 7. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
