The honor guard parades the colors to signify the commencement of the chief petty officer pinning ceremony on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. The honor guard is a time honored tradition used to start every official military ceremony. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
