Newly pinned chief petty officers sing "Anchors Away" after a chief pinning ceremony held on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Forty-one new chiefs received their first set of gold fouled anchors and CPO combination cover during the early morning ceremony. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT are of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States" commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
