Newly pinned Robert Sparks, chief aviation boatswain's mate (fuels), gets congratulated by a chief petty officer after a chief pinning ceremony held on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. After receiving their gold anchors and combination covers 41 new chief petty officers were welcomed into the CPO mess. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility.
