The honor guard parades the colors to signify the commencement of the chief petty officer pinning ceremony on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Crew members on board Ronald Reagan were invited to watch the official induction of the ship's newest addition to the khaki community. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
