Newly pinned chief petty officers proudly stand at attention after receiving their first set of fouled anchors and chief's combination covers during the chief petty officer pinning ceremony on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Forty-one chiefs received their first set of anchors and combination covers during the ceremony. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
