A worker from the local cement company uses a concrete vibrating machine, which is used especially in pours of low slump concrete, which use minimal water. The use of a vibrator is essential to ensure that the concrete does not bubble or form holes. Concrete is used to make the footings for the walls for the new classroom being built at La Guaraza. The humanitarian mission, “Beyond the Horizon," in Barahona, Dominican Republic, will provide the locals, in several areas of the island, with two new clinics, two of which are medical and one dental clinic as well as two new classrooms for the schools.
