160816-N-WA993-312 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 16, 2016) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Candice Hunt, from Cambridge, Maryland, operates a Mobile Cleaning Reclaim and Recovery System (MCRRS) on the flight deck of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The MCRRS vacuums oil, fuel and even bolts that could fly into and damage aircraft engines in operation. “I have a license to show that I’m qualified to drive this,” said Hunt. “I completed a class and did on-the-job training for two weeks before passing the test.” Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
