160816-N-WA993-224 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Aug. 16, 2016) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Candice Hunt, from Cambridge, Maryland, detaches a water hose after filling up a Mobile Cleaning Reclaim and Recovery System (MCRRS) on the flight deck of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The MCRRS sprays pressurized water then a brush scrubs the deck before a vacuum sucks it back up along with oil, fuel and even bolts as it cleansthe flight deck. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
