John Collver soars above the flight line in an AT-6 Texan “War Dog” during his performance at the 2016 MCAS Miramar Air Show aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., Sept. 24. Collver uses the World War II-era aircraft to demonstrate the aerial maneuvers taught to dogfighting American pilots more than 60 years ago.
