The Arleigh Burke-class Guided-Missile Destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) stands ready pier-side prior to its commissioning ceremony at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, Calif. Dewey is the 55th of 62 Arleigh Burke-class destroyers, and is the third ship named after Adm. George Dewey, who commanded the Asiatic Station and led his squadron of warships into Manila Bay destroying the Spanish fleet during the Spanish-American War.
