Vice Adm. Richard W. Hunt, commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet, hosted an official visit with Republic of Singapore Deputy Prime Minister for Policy and Minister of Defence Mr. Teo Chee Hean, to celebrate a major cooperation milestone March 12 and 13. Vice Adm. Hunt and Deputy Prime Minster Hean are observing the final Anti-Submarine Warfare Exercise of the Peace Triton Program a shipboard integration phase of bilateral training with both U.S. Navy and the Republic of Singapore Air Force and Navy using Sikorsky S-70B helicopters with Formidable Class frigates.
