The official party salutes the national anthem during the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 11 change of command aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Rear Adm. John Miller was relieved as Commander, CSG 11 by Rear Adm. Robert Girrier. Nimitz and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 11 are currently deployed to promote peace, regional cooperation and stability in the western Pacific region.
