YOKIJIDO ISLAND, Republic of Korea (April 03, 2016) - During the construction of a road project on Yokjido Island in the Republic of Korea, Builder Constructionman Carlos Lopez, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, finishes the surface of the road by smoothing the surface of wet concrete with a Darby float, Apr. 3. Adding finishing touches such as this will create a smooth surface and gives the road a high quality and professional look. Once complete, the paved road will shorten the distance of travel to connect 2,000 people to more efficiently exchange goods, services and improve economical growth.
