NORFOLK, Va. (July 9, 2018) Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 2nd Class Christopher Boggs, from Buford, Georgia, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) aviation intermediate maintenance department, receives his certificate of appointment to the rank of petty officer second class from Capt. Richard McCormack, Ford’s commanding officer. Boggs was promoted following his selection for the Meritorious Advancement Program.
