JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 22, 2019) – Hospitalman Charles Wells places a sterile instrument set on a table at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s OR. Wells, a native of Killingly, Connecticut, was awarded NH Jacksonville’s Culture of Patient Safety Award for fostering a culture of safety and high reliability. “Patient safety is about making sure that the patient undergoing the procedure is given the best possible care with the least amount of risk.
