JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2019) – Kristi Frese, a neonatal nurse practitioner at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, monitors a newborn’s heart in the Labor & Delivery Unit. Frese, a native of West Chester, Ohio, attended the University of Cincinnati for her post-master of science in nursing certificate. “At a young age, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I’m blessed to witness the miracle of birth, help newborns transition to their new life, educate families, and hopefully have a positive impact in their lives. I find nursing to be a challenging and fulfilling career that I’m so happy to be a part of.” (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
