JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Jan. 22, 2019) – Hospitalman Apprentice Scarlett Vigil pulls back the packaging from sterile surgical equipment at Naval Hospital Jacksonville’s operating room. Vigil, a native of Midland, Texas, says “I'm proud to be a surgical technologist. The most amazing thing about my job is that every day we get to improve patients’ quality of life and save lives.
