Chief Culinary Specialist (select) Jerromiah Payne (right), assigned to U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island, and Chief Culinary Specialist (select) Pedro Caro, assigned to USS Constitution in Boston, Mass., participate in a Chief Petty Officer (CPO) 365 Phase II fundraising event on board Naval Station Newport. CPO Phase II is a professional education and training environment designed to: integrate selected chiefs into the network of the CPO mess; instill the values, beliefs, and expectations required to contribute effectively and succeed within the CPO mess; challenge the team/individual toughness and resilience of selected chiefs, evaluate performance, and provide feedback; and cultivate a culture of humility, trust, and loyalty across the Navy.
