Steelworker 2nd Class Barron Montowski, a U.S. Navy Seabee assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB 23), embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV-2) Swift, re-paints a wall in Escuela Pronoie Nuevo Despertar Mis Primeros Pasitos in Zona De Acapulco. NMCB 23 is working with Peruvian combat engineers from Base Naval De Callao and Brigada Infanteria De Marina De Ancon during HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012 . The Seabees and engineers will spend three weeks refurbishing schools in the area. HSV-SPS is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
