A Peruvian combat engineer from Brigada Infanteria De Marina De Ancon, carries a ladder toward an amphitheater being built in Ancon. The engineers are working with U.S. Navy Seabees, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB 23), embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV-2) Swift as a part of HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012. The Seabees and engineers will spend three weeks refurbishing schools in the area. HSV-SPS is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Commands area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
