CHANGI NAVAL BASE, Singapore – Sailors with the America Amphibious Ready Group test a fire hose aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Aug. 26, 2017. Regular testing cycles ensure the equipment is functional and ready while also reinforcing proper use of the equipment. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and America ARG are operating in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
