SEPANGGAR NAVAL BASE OF KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia — Petty Officer 2nd class Rafael Garcia with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s and America Amphibious Ready Group’s soccer team places a corner kick during an exhibition match between USS America (LHA 6) and sailors from the Royal Malaysian navy at Sepanggar Naval Base, Malaysia, Aug. 16, 2017. The soccer game was a way for both countries to build camaraderie while having fun playing a sport all players are passionate about. The 15th MEU and the America ARG are operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
