PACIFIC OCEAN – Marines and Sailors with the American Amphibious Ready Group and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a foreign-object-and-debris walk aboard the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), July 22, 2017. FOD walks help keep debris from interfering with flight operations, and keeps the Marines and Sailors as well as aircraft safe from unnecessary dangers. The MEU-ARG Team is currently deployed to the 3rd, 5th and 7th fleet areas of responsibility as a crisis response and contingency force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Jacob Pruitt)
