PACIFIC OCEAN – An MH-60S Sea Hawk with the America Amphibious Ready Group takes flight during a training exercise aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Aug. 20, 2017. The Sea Hawk’s primary mission is search and rescue, and the pilots and aircrew are ready to be airborne if need be. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and America ARG are operating in the 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance partnerships and serve as a ready-response capability for any type of contingency.
