Larry McCullen, center, executive officer of amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), oversees Sailors conducting pier shift and mooring operations. Bonhomme Richard shifted location pier-side to accommodate the beginning of a ship’s restricted availability (SRA) period for forward-deployed dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Bonhomme Richard is the lead ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and is forward-deployed in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operation.
