    160729-N-SS432-027 BARKING SANDS, Hawaii (July 29, 2016) -- A U.S. Marine CH-53 Helicopters from the U.S. Marines 3rd Battalion 3rd Regiment flies over Pacific Missile Range Facility during an exercise with three other countries (South Korea, Australia, and Malaysia) as part of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2016. Twenty-six nations, 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel participating in RIMPAC from June 30 to Aug. 4, in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. RIMPAC is the largest international maritime exercise that provides a unique training opportunity that helps participants foster and sustain the cooperative relationship that is critical in ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans.
