160731-N-KH151-087 YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 31, 2016) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Trey Ingram, from Youngstown, Ohio, uses an air hose to clear dirt and debris from the catwalks of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Sailors refer to this process as blowing down the deck and do it regularly to keep the deck in proper condition. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
