FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 16, 2017) - Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 wait to spread wet concrete as it is poured onto a crater during airfield damage repair from a simulated airstrike from enemy forces on Forward Operating Base Anderson in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., during the battalions’ field training exercise (FTX), May 16. The training is designed to exercise all aspects of the battalion’s defensive and operational capabilities from manning a fighting position on the company lines to reacting to chemical warfare threats and improvised explosive devices.
