FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 15, 2017) - Steelworker 3rd Class Zachery Goodson, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, cuts concrete around a spall in order to repair the damage on the airfield from a simulated airstrike from enemy forces on Forward Operating Base Anderson in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., during the battalions’ field training exercise, May 15. FTX gives Seabees the opportunity to practice and apply seabee combat warfare skills, provide host nation security support and stay mission ready in a simulated environment intended to replicate in-country operations.
