FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 10, 2017) - Steelworker 3rd Class Justin Cann and Construction Electrician 3rd Class Dianna Borja, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, removes their gas masks as part of the decontamination procedures after a simulated chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) attack at Logistical Staging Area (LSA) Barnes in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. during the battalions’ field training exercise, May 10. The training is designed to exercise all aspects of the battalion’s defensive and operational capabilities from manning a fighting position on the company lines to reacting to chemical warfare threats and improvised explosive devices.
