FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 10, 2017) - Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Tucker Lowell, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 radios in the results of the M256A1 chemical agent detector kit to the chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) leading chief petty officer after a simulated CBR attack at Logistical Staging Area (LSA) Barnes in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. during the battalions’ field training exercise, May 10. The training is designed to exercise all aspects of the battalion’s defensive and operational capabilities from manning a fighting position on the company lines to reacting to chemical warfare threats and improvised explosive devices.
