FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 17, 2017) - Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4 unload a portion of a steel gate in order to weld it to another portion and install the completed gate as part of a civil engineering project for the battalions’ field training exercise in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., May 17. FTX prepares and tests the battalion’s ability to enter hostile locations, build assigned construction projects and defend against enemy attacks using realistic scenarios while being evaluated by Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1.
