    FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 10, 2017) - Steelworker 3rd Class Justin Cann, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, removes his gas mask as part of the decontamination procedures after a simulated chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) attack at Logistical Staging Area (LSA) Barnes in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. during the battalions’ field training exercise, May 10. NMCB 4 is conducting their final graded field training exercise (FTX), testing the battalion’s command, control and communication functions through a variety of simulated real-life scenarios encountered during deployments. The Seabee battalion provides commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighter capable of general engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
