FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 16, 2017) - Builder 2nd Class Steven Drevecky, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, takes note of the locations and measurements of craters and spalls on the airfield caused by a simulated airstrike from enemy forces, during an airfield damage repair scenario on Forward Operating Base Anderson in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., during the battalions’ field training exercise (FTX), May 16. NMCB 4 is conducting their final graded field training exercise (FTX), testing the battalion’s command, control and communication functions through a variety of simulated real-life scenarios encountered during deployments. The Seabee battalion provides commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighter capable of general engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
