FORT HUNTER LIGGETT, Calif. (May 13, 2017) - Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 4, prepare to defend Forward Operating Base Anderson against simulated enemy forces from their defensive fire pit in Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif. during a field training exercise, May 13. NMCB 4 is conducting their final graded field training exercise (FTX), testing the battalion’s command, control and communication functions through a variety of simulated real-life scenarios encountered during deployments. The Seabee battalion provides commanders and Navy component commanders with combat ready warfighter capable of general engineering, construction and limited combat engineering across the full range of military operations.
