U.S. Marine Corps landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 3 attached to Marine Aircraft Group 12, verify the number of Marines present from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment after debarking the Boeing 767-300ER during Valiant Shield 16 on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Sept. 15, 2016. The landing support Marines ensured everyone was accounted for before releasing them from the airfield. The CLB-3 Marines originate from Marine Corps Base Hawaii while 3/3 is on the unit deployment program from Hawaii to Okinawa, Japan. VS16 is a biennial U.S. only, field training exercise that focuses on joint training with U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps to increase interoperability and working relationships.
