TINIAN, Northern Mariana Islands (Sept. 15, 2016) U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Tristan Reeb with Marine Air Control Group 18, assists Tinian residents to properly apply bandages during Valiant Shield 16 at Northern Marianas College, Tinian. The course consisted of a classroom discussion and practical applications that helped better prepare locals to respond to a natural disaster or a basic trauma event. Valiant Shield is a biennial, U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps exercise held in Guam, focusing on real-world proficiency in sustaining joint forces at sea, in the air, on land and in cyberspace.
